Born Evil
Devilish Child
Terrorizes Adoptive Parents in New Book
FONTANA, Calif.
In an eerie new novel by J.P. Ransom, pure evil manifests itself in an innocent
form: a young boy. In Born Evil (now available through online and local
bookstores), a child whose malice is evident from the day of his birth destroys
the life of a couple who wants nothing but a child to love.
After his mother died a gruesome death during childbirth, the boys father,
Harold, names him Jonathan. Distraught beyond comprehension, Harold kills a
woman and loses his mind, which forces Jonathan to be a ward of the state. Trish
and Rick Davis, unfortunately, soon learn that their adopted son enjoys watching
such bloody, violent scenes.
From pulling out the babysitters hair as an infant to stabbing his kindergarten
teacher on the first day of school, Jonathan exhibits an evil that seems almost
inhuman. His shocking behavior never ceases throughout his childhood. Startling
incidents continue as Jonathan reveals his demon-like nature.
Trish, blinded by a mothers love for her son, knows Jonathan is disturbed, but
she still has hope for him. Rick, however, knows the extent of his adopted sons
outbursts. Rick wants Jonathan returned to state custody, while Trish cannot
bear losing her only child. A rift forms between them, and Ricks suspicions of
Jonathan peak when a terrible accident occurs.
With a riveting storyline, Born Evil is a bizarre tale of a child capable of
more destruction than many disturbed adults. Ransoms suspenseful and creative
scenes, captivating dialogue, and her realistic portrayal of an innocent
couples desperate situation help make Born Evil an unforgettably evil tale.
Ransom is a prolific writer of short stories. Although Born Evil is her first
novel, she has published another book, Collad Greens Fuh-ya Soul: Dishin
up the 4-1-1 on Love Relationships. She is currently working on several
future writing projects in Southern California, where she lives with her
husband, Ray and their God-daughter, Deja.
